Mike Mayne - Director
I have been a musician all my life, having played in and recorded terrible bands since my teens. My career started in technical sales, where I have sold everything from musical instruments and recording equipment through to PA and AV solutions.
I have always loved to travel, when the opportunity came to move to Asia and work for a pro audio manufacturer I jumped at the chance. I have been living and working in China for many years now, I am married and very much settled here.
I get genuine enjoyment from the challenge of working within a global network, tackling cultural differences and overcoming obstacles I could not have imagined back in England.
In recent years my focus has been on product development, interfacing between customers, marketing departments and R&D teams, ultimately driving product development for several brands. This role gave me a fascinating insight into the inner workings of Chinese factories and Chinese business culture as a whole.
Ryan McKenna - Director
I have worked in a number of industries but always come back to my true passion, audio. I started off with the sale, and quickly learned more about human behaviour than I had throughout the rest of my life.
After many years honing my skills on the front line selling products of all shapes and sizes my thirst for learning grew. An appreciation of the support that good marketing gave me on the front line drew me to this field.
Again I quickly gained a respect for marketing done the right way, marketing has a bad name in many circles and sectors; genuine, effective marketing is undeserved of this stigma.
Marketing, when done right, is truthful, insightful, persuasive and effective.
